actEnglish one day workshop (6.5 hours)
This workshop will introduce you to all the different methods found on a full actEnglish programme.
During the workshop, as well as improvisation and games, you will work on short scenes from authentic English scripts to learn:
– How to discover, use and memorise new language found in plays.
– How to find and practice the right pronunciation of spoken English in texts.
– How to use emotion and character to make pronunciation challenges easier.
– How to perform scenes and make language natural and believable.
After the workshop you will have the option of receiving a short film of you in performance.
This workshop is suitable for intermediate – proficiency levels.
The workshop will be limited to 14 people as a maximum.
Time/Date: Saturday the 8th of February 2020 – 10:00am – 4:00pm
Workshop fee: £40 advance booking only.
